Intro to Self-Serve Testing

Use self-serve testing to move a test lead through the full funding lifecycle in staging without waiting for manual operational steps.

Self-serve testing is designed for partners validating an Onboarding API integration. It lets you create deterministic test offers, progress signing, prepare and create a loan, fund the loan, and verify the final journey state.

Self-serve testing endpoints are for staging and partner testing only.

Start with the guide

The full walkthrough lives in the Self-Serve Testing guide. Use it when you want to test an end-to-end funding journey from lead creation through funding.

What you will test

The guide covers how to:

  1. Create a lead through the Onboarding API and submit it to stage 1.
  2. Create a fixed test offer through the Test Support API.
  3. Accept the offer through the Onboarding API.
  4. Retrieve documents and create a signing request.
  5. Approve funding, prepare the loan, and create the loan.
  6. Fund the loan and confirm the final journey state.

Before you start

Make sure your YouLend implementation contact has confirmed:

  • Your staging credentials are active.
  • Your credentials are enabled for both the Onboarding API and Test Support API.
  • You have the correct staging base URLs for each API area.
