YouLend's cash advance solution allows partners to offer flexible business financing to their merchants without any liability. Partners can either host the journey in their own user experience powered by YouLend's APIs, or YouLend can host a co-branded experience. This means merchants can get quick access to funds to buy stock, to advertise, to hire staff, refurbish premises, and manage disruptions. Repayments are proportionate to sales.

When presenting this product to their merchants, some partners call this:

  • "[Partner-name] Advance"

The cash advance solution is available via YouLend-hosted pages, or through an API integration delivered within our partner's existing user interface.

Typical merchant journey

1. Merchant receives prequalified offers

Present merchants some indicative offers via marketing channels such as email and in-app banners

  • Calculate indicative offers for merchants using prequalify merchants
  • YouLend can provide strategic and creative support to execute marketing campaigns

2. Merchant applies for cash advance

Merchants can apply for funding either in a partner hosted user experience powered by YouLend's APIs, or YouLend can host a co-branded experience.

  • See onboard merchant
  • Onboarding involves providing adequate verification ("KYC") information on behalf of the merchant, as well as business bank statements. YouLend will perform an automated underwriting/ credit decision regarding the merchant

✔️ This process is fully digital and only take a few minutes for merchants to complete their application

✔️ If the partner hosts the journey, all the forms can be pre-filled using Partner stored data

3. Merchant accepts offer

For successful applications, merchants will be presented with one or a range of offers.

  • See offers and signing
  • These offers can be presented in the partner or YouLend customer experience
  • Signing take places electronically

4. Payout and arranging repayments

YouLend can arrange for funding to be repaid in several ways, depending on partner type, level of integration, and geography.

5. In life management and renewal

Merchants can see their repayment details and apply for a funding renewal either in a partner hosted user experience powered by YouLend's APIs, or in the YouLend customer portal.

  • The YouLend customer portal provides a rich set of information to merchants about the status of their funding, and apply for a renewal
  • The same information is available to our partners via API
